Approval granted to provide accredited certification for food and feed manufacturing

Equal Assurance recently obtained JASANZ accreditation scope extension to provide ISO 22000 accredited certification for both food manufacturing (Food Chain Category C) and feed manufacturing (Food Chain Category D).

This scope extension compliments existing ISO 22000 accreditation for markets relating to food distribution (Food Chain Category F) and provision of food transport and storage services (Food Chain Category G).

Gaining an accredited certification for food and/or feed manufacturing can assist businesses to open new markets both locally and internationally.

For entry level food operators, Equal Assurance continues to offer HACCP System certification, including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) and/or Good Hygiene Practices (GHPs) certification.

Equal Assurance is excited about progressing into the FSMS certification marketplace, with over 30 certifications across Australia, South East Asia and the Middle East. Equal Assurance maintains auditors who are highly credentialed, and have future plans that include GFSI-recognised programmes including BRC and FSSC 22000.
